Accessibility statement

This statement applies to equidistance.io.

How accessible this website is

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. This site is designed to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA.

That means, for example, you can:

  • navigate all controls using a keyboard alone
  • use a screen reader to enter locations, choose transport mode and venue type, and read results
  • increase text size up to 200% without loss of functionality
  • use the site in light or dark mode based on your system preference

Known limitations

Interactive map — The results map is provided by Google Maps, a third-party service we do not fully control. It has limited keyboard navigability. All search results are also shown as a text list beneath the map, so the map is not required to use the service.

JavaScript required — Equidistance is a JavaScript application. The service will not function with JavaScript disabled.
